How can you make TRAINING great again?

Don’t worry, I’m not about to go political here.

I’m currently working on a redesign and a rebrand of the Tri Swim Coach website.

One of the areas that I’m updating is our general theme and tagline.

We have used the line, “Laugh at the Water!” to describe a feeling that one may get after going through our online swim success course.

But I started rethinking this last year.

While we are definitely about “fun”, there is much more to it than that. Laughing may be part of the experience, but it’s definitely not everything.

In fact, by improving your swim, you may not be laughing, as it is more of a blending of your body and the water.

By “laughing”, it may mean that you are afraid or angry, then you “conquer” the water and laugh because “it has nothing on you” anymore.

There is an element of this with swimming, but the much larger picture is this idea of not fighting the water- and actually BEFRIENDING it, rather than laughing at it.

Perhaps laughing WITH the water is better, but if you are currently struggling, that can seem like a long way off!

So the tagline and theme are still a work in progress, but we are talking a lot about befriending the water, and working with the water, even “becoming one with the water” (don’t worry we won’t use that one!)

How would you describe your feeling about the water? Both now, and where you would like to be?
